In 2023, drivers can look forward to a new engine option that will give them more power and capability. Under the hood of the 2023 Compass is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder which gets you a stark 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Pairing with this engine is a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission which will give you a smooth ride both on and off the road. In addition, all-wheel-drive is standard with every trim level, providing more traction during bad weather or when you are out on the trails. There is much to love about this new engine! 

Five trims are available for the 2023 Jeep Compass, and each has impressive features you will love. The base trim is the Sport which comes standard with some unique items such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated mirrors, roof rails, cloth upholstery, a six-speaker sound system, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An adjustable loan floor also comes standard with the Sport. Next, the Latitude brings foglights, automatic high beams, synthetic leather upholstery inserts, a synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel, and keyless ignition and entry. There are also a lot of luxury items for the Latitude Lux trim, including 18-inch wheels, a remote engine start, an upgraded driver information display, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power driver's seat, and heated front seats. The Limited is where you want to go for more practical features, such as a black-painted roof, automatic wipers, windshield wiper de-icer, dual-zone climate control, and parking sensors. Off-roaders will want to check out the Trailhawk trim as it has all the latest off-road items, such as off-road-oriented tires, raised suspension, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, hill descent control, and a unique AWD system. 

No matter what trim of the Jeep Compass you go with, you will have many advanced safety systems watching your back as you travel. One such safety feature is the Forward Collision Mitigation system that will let you know when you are about to get into a frontal collision with visual and audio cues and can even apply the brakes if you fail to do so. You can also get a Lane Departure Mitigation system that alerts you when traveling outside the painted lines without signaling. The Driver Attention Warning will use specific sensors, so you know when you are becoming too fatigued. New to the Compass lineup this year is the Rear Seat Reminder system that will check the rear seats as you get in and out of the Compass.
