Each of the five trim levels in the Jeep Compass’s 2022 lineup features the potent 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder engine. The transmission paired with this engine varies with the drivetrain of the given model, wherein rear-wheel-drive models pair with a 6-speed automatic, and four-wheel-drive models feature a 9-speed automatic.
