The extensive engine lineup of the 2023 Ram 1500 begins with the 3.6-liter V6 with eTorque. This gives the Ram 1500 305 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The eTorque mild-hybrid technology provides a seamless Engine Stop-Start function and boosts performance and efficiency. The V6 engine offers drivers a towing capacity of 7,730 pounds. Standard on the Limited trim while optional for the rest of the lineup is the renowned 5.7L HEMI V8. this provides drivers with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque for a towing capacity of 11,610 pounds. The optional 5.7L V8 with eTorque boosts the towing capacity to 12,750. The 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 pulls up to 12,560 pounds thanks to its 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. The daunting Ram 1500 TRX returns for 2023 with its supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8, ripping out a heart-pounding 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. All engines pair with a robust 8-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels as standard equipment. However, four-wheel drive is the most commonly found drivetrain for the Ram 1500 here in Ohio, as it provides optimal traction in our unpredictable weather.

The 2023 Ram 1500 boasts an extensive trim level lineup with a model to provide everything a driver needs, no matter their walk of life. To fulfill your basic everyday needs, the Tradesman trim kicks off the lineup with 18-inch steel wheels, power-adjustable side mirrors with a heating element, air conditioning power windows/door locks, vinyl upholstery, active grille shutters, and cruise control. The Big Horn levels up with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth upholstery, chrome grille accents, chrome aluminum wheels, in-floor storage for crew cab models, an 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and even more optional features like a 12-inch touchscreen, navigation, a panoramic sunroof, and more. The Laramie trim adds more premium features, including a ten-speaker Alpine premium audio system, navigation, remote start, heated/cooled front seats, 10-way power front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more. Topping off the lineup is the Limited trim, with its leather upholstery, active-leveling four-corner air suspension, 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, 12-way power front seats, standard driver assists, 20-inch alloy wheels, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED exterior lighting, and more.

The Ram 1500 has come a long way since Ram became its own brand. But the legendary truck brand takes it even further in the 2023 model year. The first new feature the 2023 Ram 1500 brings to the table is the 12-inch fully digital gauge cluster. Positioned behind the steering wheel, this digital screen shows a traditional analog speedometer and tachometer on either side of a digital speedometer reading. However, it can be configured with nearly two dozen menu options, including vehicle dynamics, turn-by-turn navigation, driver assists, music, and more using five customizable tiles. Also newly available is the Limited Elite Package. Exclusively available for the Limited trim, the Limited Elite Package takes luxury to the next level with 21-inch alloy wheels, a multifunction tailgate, a bed extender, a deployable bed step, power deploying running boards, exclusive 21-inch alloy wheels, premium leather upholstery, locking in-floor storage, reclining rear seats, Harman Kardon audio with nineteen speakers, and much more. Another update to the lineup is more accessibility to the Selec-Speed feature. Selec-Speed is essentially off-road cruise control, allowing drivers to set and forget the vehicle speed while off-roading and focus solely on driving. While previously optional, Selec-Speed now comes standard with the Rebel trim, Off-Road Group, and Back Country package.
